How Do I Receive Payouts for Completed Consultations?

As a consultant on iKnowly, receiving payouts for your completed consultations is a simple and secure process. However, it is important to follow the necessary steps to activate your account and ensure smooth payments. Below is a detailed guide on how payouts work.

1. Activating Your Account for Payouts

To activate your account and start receiving payouts, you must first complete the Stripe onboarding process. This step ensures that your payment details are correctly set up. Here's how to proceed:

Step 1: Submit Your Payout Details

  • During the onboarding process, you will need to provide your IBAN (International Bank Account Number) from your German bank account.
  • Ensure that your bank account details are accurate to avoid delays in processing payments.

Step 2: Stripe's Verification Process

  • Stripe will verify your details to ensure the accuracy of your banking information and identity. This verification can take a few hours, but in some cases, it may take a few days, depending on various factors.
  • Additional documents, such as proof of identity, may be requested by Stripe to finalize the verification process.

Step 3: Approval by Stripe

  • Once Stripe verifies and approves your details, you will receive a confirmation email. At this point, your account will be fully activated and you will be able to receive payouts for your completed sessions.

2. Payout Frequency

Consultants are paid on a weekly basis, specifically every Wednesday. However, please note that it may take up to 3 business days for the funds to be delivered to your German bank account, depending on the processing times of your bank and Stripe.

  • Payouts are processed weekly for all consultations completed during the previous week, provided the sessions are confirmed without any payment disputes.

3. Managing Your Payment Details

If you need to update your IBAN or other payout details after your account has been activated, you can do so by logging into your Stripe account and updating your details directly there.

  • To update your IBAN: Please log in to your Stripe account, go to your account settings, and edit your bank details as needed.

4. Important Notes

  • IBAN Requirement: Currently, payouts are only available via IBAN payments to German bank accounts. If you are based outside of Germany, please contact support@iknowly.com for further assistance.
  • Stripe Processing Fees: Stripe charges small processing fees for each transaction. These fees will be automatically deducted from your payouts.
